About Us

My name is Danielle and I serve children as a Learning Specialist. I have a daughter at home, and three grown children living their lives. My recent work has been as a substitute teacher, tutor, summer camp director, and early educator. I am passionate about supporting children with diverse needs, and providing them with the tools they need to be successful. I believe all children are capable of learning, and I enjoy helping families find what works for their child.

I hold a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Leadership in Early Childhood Education from Southern Oregon University. My graduate work focused on elementary education, inclusion and differentiation, early childhood education and mental health, family engagement, restorative practices, and educational leadership. I also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies with a minor in Geography from the University of Missouri.

I am the former owner and lead educator of Nurture and Bloom, a licensed home-based preschool and child care program (Jackson County 2017 - 2022) that served infants, toddlers, and young children while emphasizing high-quality early learning, family partnerships, and inclusive support services. During that time, I managed licensing and grant requirements, developed curriculum and policies, supported staff development, and advocated for families involved in early intervention services.

Philosophy

We believe children are naturally curious, and all children are capable of learning in their own unique ways.

Our role is to facilitate an environment where children are free to learn, to explore, to express themselves.

We insist on inclusion and fair treatment of ALL children. We respect diversity, and offer a safe space for children who are neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, or have experienced trauma.

We seek to meet families where they are, listen to the needs of parents, and be a resource for our community.
